THE FIRE BRANDED PODCAST

Greetings Subscribers—especially you new folks who just signed up! The official launch of “Fire Branded” has really caught on and I really think you’ll love these new episodes. This podcast is a little different from the podcast at Stoking the Embers. It hits a little harder, is a little more fun and has been really well received already.
Below are the first episodces I’ve streamed to the new YouTube channel. The links here will take you to the episodes’ pages on CatholicFirebrand.com They went incredibly well.
More into reading articles? I’ll be doing an article/essay based on one of the segments in these podcasts
At the end of this email I have a quick note about the Discord community, Firebrand Forum

THROWIN’ FIREBALLS AT ANTI-CATHOLICS

Throwin’ Fireballs” - In this explosive episode of Fire Branded, I bring the heat. Throwing Fireballs is my rallying cry to Catholics who feel overwhelmed, intimidated, or confused by anti-Catholic noise online. Using a recent Instagram clip that unexpectedly went viral, I unpack why so many people—some inside the Church, some far outside—feel compelled to take swings at Catholicism. And I expose what’s really going on beneath their loud objections: a deep, unspoken recognition of the Church’s authority.

Post-show Smackdown
In this Firebranded Post-show Smackdown, I break down the biggest moments from yesterday’s viral Catholic episode: the nature of worship, why the Catholic Church is part of reality itself, how Protestants benefit from the Catholic Mass, why unjust criticism of the Church is spiritually dangerous, and why God is stirring a massive renewal of the Church in our generation. Perfect for Catholics, ex-Catholics, Protestants, and anyone searching for truth, Scripture-based clarity, Catholic apologetics, or a deeper understanding of the Mass and the mystical body of Christ..
DISCORD UPDATE
A couple of tips and “prompts” regarding the Discord Community
1. Join us on Discord, using this invite link
2. You can post links, images, audio and video files you’d like to share in the main chat area (#the-fire-pit)
3. You can use the @ symbol to mention another member, just like on socials. Tap-and-hold (on smartphones) or right-mouse-click (on computer) for context menus (Reply To, Forward, Create Thread (topic), Copy Text, etc.). There’s also an audio channel where you can voice chat with others (individual or group). Just be aware, any member can drop in there, so it isn’t for private conversations
4. #The-Fire-Pit (channel) is general chatting, no structure or schedule—totally casual. #Fan-the-Flames is topic based chat threads, which I introduce a new one every week. The other channels are self explanatory—#question-box, #Behind-the-Scenes, #Prayer-Requests
Behind the Scenes is where I share dirt, or ideas I’m working on, graphics or episode drafts. Those topics (threads) expire after one week of inactivity so if you see a topic that catches your attention, check it out while it’s still there. Here’s the latest thread in Behind the Scenes with the topic I’m working on (and a Fulton Sheen video!) for the next episode
You can contribute to any of these channels, start threads (topics) in the Prayer Requests and Question box channels. It isn’t regimented, so come and hang out some time. This is your family, without social media insanity.
The Scripture Sessions bible study channel will launch this week!
You don’t have to participate in any of these channels “live” but you can. You’re also free to drop in whenever you’d like to read and/or participate in what’s going on.
Until next time,
